Variable elevation ranging from 6,600' to 7,800' in this steeply sloping area. Lower Tyner is accessible above Ponderosa, while Upper Tyner follows a long, winding road above Jennifer to the highest elevations. Moderate to heavy snowfall in the upper elevations is common here, and it can take 10 minutes to reach the top of Upper Tyner. These areas feature some panoramic lake views, wide range of single-family residences and access to mountain trails. New homes are being built with lake views along steep slopes. The median home price in 2006 was $912,000.
