Surrounded by forested area, there are several trailheads- Center Creek off of Barbara and Third Creek at the upper end of Jennifer Street. Elevations range from about 7,000' to 7,400' along primarily east facing slopes (the sun sets a little earlier here), and snowfall is heavy. The median home price in 2006 was $1,079,000.
